WELCOME

“I was glad when they said unto me; let us go into the house

of the Lord:  Psalm 122:1”

“WE ARE DELIGHTED you have chosen to worship with us today.  We consider it a privilege to share this time with you praising and giving thanks to God. We extend the warmest of welcomes to each and every one.  Let us sing joyously together, pray fervently and listen attentively to God’s word.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO OUR SANCTUARY DECORUM:

“God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints and to be held in reverence of all them that are about him.”  Psalm 89:7

  • We are asking your assistance to ensure that reverence is maintained in God’s Sanctuary.  Please DO NOT feed children in the Sanctuary. DO NOT eat, drink or chew gum in the Sanctuary.
  • Kindly lower your voices while waiting to enter the Sanctuary and refrain from all unnecessary conversations during worship service.
  • Help create the atmosphere of worship.  Join in singing the great hymns of the Church; unite your thoughts with the prayers offered; listen to the voice of God in the scriptures and the messages from the ministers of God.
  • Do all you can to create the atmosphere of reverence?  This is God’s house; it is your house of worship.  It becomes what you make it.  Let us worship in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.

AFFIRMATION

Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it Holy, Six Days shalt thou labour and do all thy work.  But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God:  in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:  For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.  Exodus 20: 8-11.
